I was just having a crap looking at this mirror I let the missus buy.
A couple of years back, we sold our investment property and made a nice little profit (yes David, paid over $30k capital gains tax ).
Apart from the '66 Mustang and the family holiday to the USA, we did a full bathroom reno. I took the easy option and let her pick all the taps, fixtures and fittings.
Now this mirror has a built in light and Bluetooth speakers, yep, you can stream your music from your phone while your'e in the shower or taking a dump. Guess how often it gets used... that's right, Never!
The biggest waste of $799 ever! (plus whatever extra the sparky charged to run a concealed power point for it)
What's the most 'Gimmicky' thing you've ever bought?

I dunno, you could have some fun with that. Wait til someone else is in there and blast music at them through the speakers from the next room. Literally frighten the shit out of them.
I'm a sucker for gimmicky stuff, I can't think of anything quite that chintzy though.
Does a blue wooden toilet seat with 3D tropical fish on the lid count?
