A 1000 days out of the AFL and named amongst the best.
A great game. Lots of run, pace and involvement.

I'd say that's the case. It was quite remarkable that he was able to come back and play as well as he did yesterday. I recall that neither he nor Keeffe were able to join the club for the entirety of the pre-season. So really, he's had two years out of the game and a limited pre-season.

If he can play a few more games this year, and have a full pre-season, I think we will have a very good player next year.

I was ready to let him go.

It's only been one game but that was encouraging.

I thought all things considered, he was very serviceable.
Handled the ball well and his decision making in traffic was very good.
Understandably fatigue and lactic acid caught up with him in the last 30 mins but if he can continue to adapt to the tempo, I would expect he will see a fair bit more AFL game time in 2017 and beyond.

I thought for his first game back at senior level, he exceeded expectations.

I'm interested to see how he backs it up today.

Eating my words, I thought he was finished and Keeffe would slot straight back in given our dearth of quality KPPs.

Rarely gets beaten. Great hands, always one grab. If only he could drill one from 25 out without stubbing his toe!!
