Collingwoods Finals chances

Still in with a big chance. In the eight again for the weekend!

Either Adelaide or Geelong would be the only ones able to take COllingwoods spot.

COllingwood have - 3 possible winning games but no real certain wins...essendon will be hard - but have proven they can be beaten and arent in form and are undermanned. Carlton will be tough but still very possible. Kangaroos is Manuka is probably the hardest game seeing as they havent lost there ever

Adelaide have - 2 probable wins and 1 possible win.....they play kangaroos away which will be very hard but adelaide have a better away record than any other team this year, they play freo away which should be a drubbing, and they play hawthorn at footy park which should be a win too

Geelong have - 3 possibles....Port at footy park - no real chance but possibly a chance, Brisbane at Shell - Brissy play very well there, Carlton at Optus - maybe half a chance.

Id say Collingwood desperatly needed this win today and are a very very strong chance at staying in eighth spot for the rest of the season!

geelong are gone.

the big worry are the kangas. still a very tough unit.

Crows and Roos are the only real threats as at the end of this round. Pity the Croes had to beat Carlscum.

A Roos win over Adelaide next week would help us. It's best for us if it is the Roos that emerge as our main challenger, because we at least have some control over their destiny, because we play them in the last round. If the Crows get ahead of us we'll find ourselves in the position of having to hope they lose.

We could possibly sneak into the 8 with one more win ... but only if other results go our way. Two wins would make our chances a lot better. But only three wins would guarantee us a finals berth.

I still don't think we'll make it ... but I'm absolutely rapt that we beat the Dogs. It's been a great season even if nothing more comes of it.

We are probably going to find it tough to do better than Adelaide, but you never know. The Pies have shown a lot of guts this year.
