Just another reason I'm happy to be Barren von Swoop.
Good on her for being honest.

yep good on her for being honest, i know a few women who have said the same thing. Good on her too for acknowledging that its not the case for all mums! I loved it, as i noted in the odd thread though, it can be boring, frustrating, lonely, but a lot of that comes from tiredness too! i always said, if i got enough sleep i could cope with anything! when your tired, everything is hard, even things you enjoy. i wouldnt have missed it for the world. I stood at the school gate on the first day od school and howled, and i loved school holidays!! When they were little, I loved going to the park, even in winter i rugged us all up! i walked for miles and hours with the pram!! and i still know all the moves to the wiggles songs!!swoop42 wrote:http://www.theage.com.au/lifestyle/life-and-relationships/parenting/looking-after-young-children-is-boring-and-more-of-us-should-admit-it-20170717-gxczoi.html

And right now, im doing the same for my little boy, waiting for the vets call (no cage for my baby) and i probably wont sleep for a few days!! it takes all kinds. And thats why good quality child care should not be looked down on, someone has to bring them up!!
She shouldnt cringe at the germ filled play centres though, the only way to develop immunity to bugs is through exposure! My inlaws used to be stunned at what i let my kids do! bit of mud doesnt hurt very many people!!
cheers!!
You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either!

Interesting almost masculine view and at the polar end of the spectrum against those who find it horribly hard work that impacts their ability to sit on their arse watching netflix and using social media on their phones.
Then there's the ones who fit into either of those camps who create their fictional perfect lives on social media, shaming anyone who's tempted to admit they're bored or struggling.

Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.
