Have you considered setting up a huge marquee and screen at Vic Park to show the Round 22 Canberra clash live? Charge $5 per head, Squadron members free. Have a dry/family area up front and a wet area with bar up the back. The club can make a few dollars out of the game, while the supporters get to cheer on the boys in unison on home territory.
All supporters out there if you are interested in this idea, then reply to this post. It can be a petition to the club and a gauge as to the number of bums on seats they can expect to determine the financial viability of the proposal. If you think it is a crap idea then they would probably want to know too.

I did hear that the Club were organising something at Crown but it was going to be $45 per head to watch the game and I think it only included a few nibblies. I'll jump at any chance to see our boys play but it makes it a bit tough on the budget when I have to add a V/Line ticket to that as well.
I think just a big screen at Vic Park would be great so we can all cheer the boys on together (and that way they could hopefully charge a cheaper price).
GO PIES!
