Interesting that post match Bucks said that we had run out of legs by half time and that 6-7 players were on one leg.

Think Treloar was definitely one of them.

But if that was the case, then makes the win even more meritorious.

also concerning re: our fitness. why can't we run out a game...especially in Round 23. I would expect that teams are aiming for players to reach peak fitness by finals.

It might have something to do with us having so many young skinny players like Daicos and Brown etc. These younger players clearly don't have the tank that older, more seasoned players have.

Watched Brown a few times writing cheques his body couldn't cash.....Yet. All the intent was there, just not the strength.

Mention was made at Bucks post match about Maynard starting in the midfield

Bucks admitted thoughts had been on him as a future mid when he is ready
but then added "He's a bit more ready than we expected"

Well a good match day move by Nathan and co
I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right

Well done boys, well done Buckley
It is such a good feeling to see the name Daicos in the goal kickers for the pies again.

If he had kicked two in the first the crowd would have lost their minds!
Get back on top.

Interesting that we won the clearances today with Adams and Treloar having only 3 between them. Add to this the absence of Pendlebury and Greenwood and it's a good effort.

Our top clearance winners:
Sidebottom: 7
Maynard: 5
Brown: 3
Crisp: 3
Well done boys!

Just stoked to get the win and stick it up these pricks! Goldy and Langdon were awesome down back , Maynard showed heaps today, Elliot and Howe stepped up again . Good to finish the year on a high note and remind bernie vince on what a squib he is.

My guess is that it's because we had most of our first choice midfielders out injured and Treloar, who played, has been playing injured most of the second half of the season.

Well I really enjoyed that. The efforts of the very young brigade gave me the only thing that satisfies when you're missing out on finals, HOPE! It does feel like we are on the way up and could have performed well in finals if some of the close losses early on were wins.

Taylor Adams growth this season has been inspirational. Got a lot of favourites in the team and they all look up to him. I hope the review is more about tweeking than complete upheaval. The recruiting table will be one of the biggest players in our next flag, one or two more of the right people ready to play could be enough.

Gunna take all the artificial life support the AFL has got to get their precious Dees past another week.

Not to forget that this win, and the others over the last 6 years have come about despite the fact we don't have a person in charge of the team that can coach apparently...

Don't forget we were 5-10 with the lowest injury list in the comp.
