Well juniors team bowed out of the finals in the prelim, bloody good effort from 5th, and having not beaten a side above them all season. They lost by 8 to a team that absolutely thumped them a few weeks back. We had them for the first 1/4 and a bit, but gees their goalies are accurate! Bloody proud of the team today, went down fighting all the way.

Hope everyone else gets up for a win. Cheers

And as an aside, so good to see the gnats and the drugsters get done!

Ouch!

The Black & Whites had a shocker... all sides eliminated in 1st semis; colts lost by 88, reserves by 25 & the league by 61.

Footy interest is now only the $150 I put on Richmond at 10/1 a month ago.

Flying home early (Thursday a.m.) for a job interview. Geez the days up here are dragging.... not going to miss summer here! Got a taste of it coming today (35) or the 10 gazillion flies that are on their way.

Cheers Morrigu. It's pretty much in the bag, just sorting out details.

Looking forward to being home after 13 years of fifo. Christmas with the family for the 1st time in 10 years will be a nice change.

Alas, the 20 year old could not add any silverware to the Nicks trophy cabinet.
Lost their grand final to St Kevs who were the better team on the day.
The boys tried hard but were playing catch up from the 1st bounce, with the back line (including the 20 year old) under pressure all game. Had a sniff late in the 3rd quarter but couldn't convert and were overrun in the final term.

They were disappointed not to get the win but it was lots of little things through the whole game which brought them undone.

20 year old is a bit annoyed as he played in a losing GF last year but at least he got another chance this year and played much better (last year was a shocker).

As the game was an early one on Sunday, they spent the afternoon celebrating the season with quite a few frothies out on Dairy Dome.

There may however be something to celebrate as my youngest sisters B grade netball team has made the GF this weekend. She plays for Tallygaroopna and they have a couple of footy & netball teams in grand finals. Tally is also where Steele Sidebottoms brothers play.

I don't think so Stui. He had a great year but the WAFL isn't the same class it once was.
Looked like he enjoyed being home.
