I think it's changing your mind, plenty of people don't. They stick with the opinions they formed in early life. Nothing wrong with it IMO, it's allowed

Nonsense - you have posted loud and long against puppy farms etc and then went to a breeder to get a new dog because it suited you. Civil and "drawing first blood " whatever that means has nothing to do with it - your choice but not one everyone agrees with it so perhaps learn to respect that others disagree with your opinion and actions and have the right to a different opinion eh??

Bit like how some people vehemently disagreed with shooting a gorilla held in capitivity for the purpose of entertaining humans when some lard arse lazy biatch couldn't be arsed supervising her kid - but " mothers" who really are animal lovers cause we post we are were OK with it cause it's tough watching your kids " all the time"
Firstly, yes I did go to a certified breeder for my puppy, not a puppy farmer, a certified by the RSPCA and the Victorian breeder association, breeder, yes to suit my need at the time after a two year effort to adopt a suitable dog. I've said that before, have never hidden it, I'm not ashamed of it, and it has not lessened my passion for Oscars Law. It's not the same thing.

Secondly, my comments were directed at the constant digs and insinuations that come my way about anything and everything, from luvdids, and you know thats true.

And thirdly, since you bought it up, Harambe. The reason, or should I say the excuse you used for Jumping the fence. I never said shooting Harambe was acceptable, of course it's not. I never said I was ok with it. I just noted on my Facebook page that working together, rather than assigning blame, was a better way to prevent it happening again. Harambe never should have been in captivity. But a three year old child should not have been able to get into the gorillas enclosure, no mother could have foreseen that. It's so easy to lose sight of a toddler, even thin mothers do it, although I'm not sure why her size is relevant. That mother was not negligent. Kids take off in the blink of an eye.

Use it as a lesson to prevent another innocent animal dying. I'm more than happy to share the whole post if anyone wants to see it. It was about seeing the situation from both sides, as a mother, and as someone who is passionate about animal rights. There were no winners. Just lessons to be learnt.

I respect everybody, including myself, i don't dig at anyone, and I expect the same consideration myself.

I find this odd every time...

When there's a body found, that's clearly been murdered, I always find it odd that news reports say "Police are treating the death as suspicious".... really?? You mean someone didn't have a heart attack & bury themselves in a shallow grave? Or they didn't fall over & slash their own throat by accident? Or they didn't die of natural causes & put themselves in pieces in garbage bags afterwards?  OF COURSE it's suspicious!

And somebody's always around to 'help police with their enquiries'.

Happens all the time in Thailand. The favourite one is the 60 year old blokes who suddenly decide to jump out of their condo to their death usually weeks after naming the Thai 30 year old girlfriend as beneficiary in the will. Second favourite is the men who manage to stab themselves in the back.

I'm tipping your GF isn't the beneficiary of your will.

She could be but I have jack shit. So if she wants 10 years in the slammer for a set of golf clubs go for it. We only have 2 storeys and hopefully if I land it will be on a passerby who seems to think the front of our place is a parking lot.
