18 this year, 1 every 60 hours....18 kids who feel so bad, so sad, they pick up a gun and shoot people. Why. Forget the availability and the stupidity of it for a minute. Why is this happening?
You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either!

There were fully automatic weapons around in the 20s, the Tommy Gun was readily available until full autos were restricted in I think the 30s.

Also, the 18 school shootings thing is a total media fabrication.

its not a total fabrication,
guns went off, or bullets landed, in school grounds on 18 different occasions.

now you can certainly argue further but really? 2 of them have been major, with many casualties, and as i typed that i checked myself - WTAF! i just picked 2 bunches of dead children out of 18 different shooting scenarios!! how did i become so desensitized?

Sure, but not widespread, and tommy guns were very expensive for the average joe. Magazine rifles were very widely owned, though.
