I am a little worried about our team selection. Essendon have Allesio and have brought in Barnes and Robran. We are still without Richo and McKee has not been brought in. It leaves us a bit short. If Hird plays that will be another tall for them. Maybe Malthouse is relying on the weather forecast and is praying for rain.
What do you guys think?
Team selection against Essendon

Barnes - Way too old, just look out on the wing for him and Wellman waiting for an easy possession.
Alessio - Had his good game last week, rarely plays two good games a year let alone in a row.
Robran - Nothing special really
Hird - Obviously a great player and must show him some respect
The key will be the midfield of Misiti and J Johnson. Sheedys one move is to put hird in the midfield when they struggle
As long as we play our best i think that should bring us pretty damn close to beating those arrogant wankers.

Problem is, JLC, first use of the ball will go their string midfield unless Ant can play a huge roll in the ruck. I doubt he can do it for a whole quarter let alone the match. He will need a help out in each quarter - presumably from Josh, who doesn't have a good centre bounce technique at this stage.

i doubt those players will play for essendon...if anthony can have a game like he did against the bulldogs it will go a long way 2 beating them..i think they'll have difficulty matching up our forward line of rocca, fraser, tarrant, molloy,n.davis, l.davis and holland..all class players
