Smith and Cox are a liability, Langdon's value is questionable, we have no depth. McLarty is a better option than Cox. Grundy panic's at times and just puts the ball to boot, but he's not the only one. Crisp and Aish on tonight's form are not part of the future. Very disappointing start. The coaching is the bottom line, as well as the president. We have failed the membership, and gone stale.
In the end, it's not going to matter how many breaths you took, but how many moments took your breath away

What astonished me was our total lack of pressure on the contested ball...that was one of our strengths last year.
Our skills at ground level were also substandard, and we also seemed to lack the game reading skills to be at the ball when it fell to ground. Hawthorn always was there, while we were not.
The apparent ease of Hawthorn's victory was due to our total inability to apply pressure on the contested ball tonight. This is a step backwards compared with last year, since pressure on the contested ball was one of our strengths... As was tackling pressure, which was, relatively speaking, almost inexistent tonight.
Poor kicking skills was also a factor, but I really think that the absence of pressure on the contested ball was what stood out. why was this ?? That is what I would like to know.

Embarrassing and, another loss to the Hawks

Bucks is now what 1 win 7,839,588 losses against Clarkson

We are awful and Buckley has to be sacked immediately.

K wrote:The only 3 Adams kicks I can recall for the game were all shocking turnovers:
1. Centre-square free helicoptered, giving team-mate no chance;
2. Inboard kick from wing to intended target 20m away, but 15m over his head;
3. Streaming forward from centre straight to opponent.
Treloar way worse - 40.6 DE. Adams - 60.

After all the crap of the first three quarters we dominated for 20 mins in the last and could only manage two goals.

Positives: Stephenson Murray Crocker
Negatives: pretty much everything else.

Yep, I admire Cox's efforts to learn a new game. But it's been a few years now and he's not getting any younger. Would like to see McLarty given a go.

Treloar's effort in Q4, off the side of the boot 20m forward, was also stunning.
