From a player who screwed the pooch majorly last year, and hasn't done very much in the years he has been here

If you wonder why there's a culture of 'I can do what I want' with the young players (and older club officials), look no further than some of the comments on this thread

At around 2:05.

I'm not worried about where he's heading. I'm worried about where he's already arrived.

For the record, Hodge record 0.068, which is much lower than 0.095.
And his "punishment" was a victory for expediency over principles. They simply could not face losing his football skills for that final.

I forgot the veiled hint/threat delivered from the club via Goldsacks press conference: "he is not as fit as he could be"

Is code from the club that they knew he was either slacking off or has off field party problems again.

This drink driving issue spells real trouble if you ask me.

I don't care how talented he is...he is at a club that struggling enough at the moment as it is.... you either want a career in AFL or you don't. I get a strong feeling of the latter from this kid.

i know you dont think anyone suggested that DeGoey should be fired (and that we were all very supportive of the young man), but i just looked at the first three pages, and it certainly looks like everyone was of a mind to have him fired.

K your comments look pretty bad given the "who me" defense you tried to mount on a previous post.

I just wish people would accept it when they are proven wrong.

De Goey is an out and out star of the competition and has been totally silk for us since day one. i used to comment that when he touches the ball (even knock ons), good things happen and goals seem easier to score. Now everyone else is seeing the light.

Where did I knock the kid.Muppet. Trying to justify the fact that You drive pissed around the street. I live in Thailand. a long way from Bundoora but perception not strong I suppose. Don't kill anyone I know ok.

You did not knock him once. I have found no evidence of you knocking him. I never said you did. I said "everyone on here was knocking him". I suspect you were in some Thai "girlie" bars (assuming that's your thing) during the pre-season as no evidence you were here. Why does an old man like you live in Thailand by the way?

Also, are you suggesting that because you live in Thailand you are superior to people who live in Bundoora??? Seems rich to me but whatever rocks your boat.

Don't understand your last comment? i thought i told you that i am the perfect drink driver (as evidenced by my perfect driving record and practice). Why does that bother you so much?? some people are just better at things than others. They make laws for the lowest common denominator (which is the right thing to do).

Keep calm my friend and enjoy the great accomplishments of our great team (including De Goey - our drink driving pin up boy of greatness!).

No but I am one of "you all all" knock one knock all. You mentioned biundoora, not me. There is no such thinga s a perfect drunk driver. 40 years a social club menber. i Live in Thailand because it is cheaper than giving money to bludgers, tax and other wise. Go to a girlie bar, you might get some of your frustations out.

I don't have any frustrations. I think you might be too judgmental. Maybe people in Australia got a little sick of that. Probably better to be in a country where your tiny bit of money talks so you don't have to. Feels to me like you need to relax a little pal. sad.
