We all really know what happened today. In the past three games, the opposition averaged 62 points a game against us. This week they got an extra 51 above that average. Scharenberg was great, Howe was BOG and Maynard, Crisp and Dunn went about the same as they always do. Only one thing changed at the back.

Can you expand a bit on this? Was it Dunne gifting a second goal early on, Langdon being out, or the injuries to Maynard and Howe? Or something else????

Agree that the score flattered the tigers - we had their measure for 95% of the game.
Those who are dishing Blair/Buckley/Mayne are letting your prejudices get the better of your judgement - Blair was in particular good and naming Appleby was inspired and brave. Just remember that the ball was in Richmonds half a big chunk of time - well away from Mayne - Blair seemed to be up forward a bit too.
If your looking to poke someone perhaps Thomas or de Goey (although he did have Rance on him a bit). Thomas has had a couple of quiet weeks and Jordy is still working his way back I feel.

We got beaten by 8 goals so that is a thrashing in anyones book.
As for Blair...what impact did he have?
Basically zero!

Well he had 20 disposals with a 75% effective - above average, Good for an in and under player. For someone who didn't play full time midfield he was active and working hard and effective. Stevenson, deGoey, Maynard even Aish would have liked some of his game. You just don't like him because his short (and has a bad mo)

THIS !!! yes id like to see how Tiggers would go if both Rance and Dusty did their ACLs, they definitely are the glue that binds them. But, these freaks never seem to get injured, aka their whole rotten team, never get injuries, most sides do, except these bastards, unreal.

Adelaide also pinched a premiership no one predicted. Then they somehow managed to get under everyone's guard the next year too. But I think that Adelaide side was far superior to Richmond's. They had to cope with Modra's season-long knee injury, for starters.

thanks AFL. why the %$^ did we play the raining premiers so close to the shortest break between games in the history of the game. it was inevitable we would fatigue out of the game then run into injuries because of it. time to ask questions Collingwood.
