I did have one friend on facebook ask what James has to do to become better than MJ. My smug answer was to make a Space Jam film. (Which is apparently happening by the way).5 from the wing on debut wrote:Larry Bird knew how to get the better of Jordan. I don't know how what he said to Jordan at the end of the golf scene in Spacejam managed to get past the censors at that time.

Last night LBJ dropped one of the best games if his career.
44 points, 17-24 FG, 5-10 threes, 10 assists, and 9 rebounds.
And it was done in that god awful Cavs jersey from the late 80s. But it was the Cavs jersey i knew growing up.
He has now also become the first player in history with 27,000 points, 7,000 rebounds & 7,000 assists.

2 wins away from another Finals birth.
Cant see Celtics winning 1 game, let alone 4.
The debate will be raging again.
On the flip side, the debate about the Warriors being better then the 90's Bulls will also rise in the next week. (They're also 2 wins away from a finals birth).

Ah I see.
Well since the Cavs loss, there has been little fanfare about the LBJ/MJ debate.
Strangely, the GSW/90's Bulls debate has also been cold.
At 32, LBJ still has some years in the tank. He'll work his way higher into the top 10 scorers of all time, amongst other records. Keep in mind he'll play more seasons than MJ.
But it'll be easier to call this once LeBron has retired. You'd have to admit that he at least deserves to be in the conversation, but I do think he needs to get at least one more ring. (3 is still a lot more than many other greats).

He's making it hard to argue.
Escaped a first round exit. (Jordan had a couple).
Fights back today to beat Toronto in game 1 of the conference semis.
If the Cavs can pass Toronto, I think the winner of the Celtics and 76ers can also be beaten. However, I can't see the Cavs being able to beat Houston or Golden State in the finals.

Jordan is still the GOAT but for the first time really LeBron is now making people stop and think for a few minutes.
Before this series LeBron hadn't been known as the man who had the ball in his hands when that last shot had to be taken. He had often passed it off to D Wade or Irving before taking th shot himself.
Now with a under strength team (not stacked like in the past) his taking that shot.
Jordan has 6 rings and was a pure scorer and a defensive beast who was much underrated for that part of his game. LeBron isn't a pure scorer but has many more assists and rebounds than MJ.
At 6ft9" LeNron plays such a different style to MJ.
When MJ got the ball he first thought was score then pass LeBron is pass then score different mindset really
Heck wouldn't you like a back court of LeBron MJ Pippen would be hard to man up on.

The Celtics Vs Cavs series will be an interesting one.
Still hard to believe the Cavs almost went out in round 1 and then swept the #1 seed in the second round.
And its also strange to think that Boston are in the ECF after the injuries theyve had.
You add Kyrie back into this series and it would be huge.
I still think the Cavs lack depth, but the Cs are missing their best player.
Either way, will the Celts or Cavs be able to defeat one of the Rockets or Warriors in the big one??
