My first impressions of Shack is that he plays a very high impact game thats goes in spurts. Similar body size to McGoughs and knows how to find the ball just aswell. The up side is he has better disposal which is what is holding Mark back so badly.
I expect to see Luke play in the Wizard Cup and get between 3 - 5 games in the seniors for '04. Will be used sparingly off the bench by Mick and realistically needs another solid pre-season under his belt before he will have enough fitness to compete at the top level.
What are others peoples thoughts on Luke and how he will fare in '04 (and beyond)?
My thoughts on Shack

To me, Luke Shakleton looks like a young Scotty Burns. From the times that I have seen him (Williamstown & Vs Freo in London). He is a renowned ball winner who can bust a pack open. Some have said that he isn't the fastest player across the ground but to me, he looks very fast and strong. Lets hope to see the Shack Attack in 2004!!!

I'd have to agree, I think that Lukey is alot like Molloy too!!
He has proven to be a vital member in the Willi side and let me tell you he gives and good as he gets when it comes to this body size and weight!!
Should probably crack the senior side at some stage this year though its hard for him to get a game in the midfield cause it is already so strong!!!
Luke will be a GUN!!!
