Credit to the development coaches and Jared Rivers for pushing him to be "AFL Seniors" ready for his debut game. What the Reserves is essentially for. He is a brute!

Whilst Bear is supposedly an inside mid, I was very impressed with his ability to find space and kick long to advantage.
He seems to have good kicking ability.

The kid's got some talent, to be sure. It was a respectable first outing in trying conditions. He'll be better for the run and I expect that he will grow from here. His position in the side, although not assured, is his to keep.

Wills and Sier have developed the nicknames Bull and Bear through the VFL this year.

Not really a good nickname, I think. He looks huge, but not the shape of a bear.
On more important matters, the club's main concern with his current football is reported to be his ability to spread from the contest. I don't know what his aerobic limits are. Obviously, the size has to come at some cost.
