the 2014 mental health act, when combined with the updated charter of human rights makes dealing with people who present with potential mental illness problematic.

WPT lives this so I'll leave the explanation to him, or you could just use google.

What WPT has already written hints at issues way beyond what G. will reveal (or, put another way, some of my existing beliefs about the law/system may have been influenced by G.), so I'll await his insights.

[Having said that, I am reviewing the Act on
http://www.legislation.vic.gov.au/Domin ... tbook.nsf/
and so far it does seem to be backing what I thought...]

Thanks Guys, cheers

The council have worked pretty hard getting and keeping this beach nice and user friendly.

And people still feel the need to leave crap around, I have gloves on me and pick stuff up, once there was a big bag or dirty nappies hooked up under the pier, yesterday a full newspaper in the water, I tried to collect it but it fell apart in my hands. There is plenty of bins around, so lazy. The beach here is beautiful.

Rode to Mordialloc and back x 2 laps.

4750 calories -about to make up for that
85 kms
Good speed geeting to Mordy, slow back. Strong wind, from the general weather conditions too

Barely any pain on my iliotibial band at all (I think remembered pain) fleeting, New bike and shoe positioning has so far worked a treat. Now to get ready to for pm shift today then a friggin early tomorrow.

Must confess, not really a Torana person... but does the "Peter Brock" on the lead car genuinely indicate that this was Peter Brock's once?

I wasn't intending to do this, but I've now found the Charter of Human Rights and Responsibilities Act 2006, " incorporating amendments as at 1 July 2014". It surely can only strengthen patient/victim rights, though, not hand more power to (e.g.) police, who I do not believe are given any power by the 2014 health act (that is, no power beyond what they already have through law-enforcement acts, whatever they may be --- which I'm also not intending to look at).

They very much strengthen the rights of the person over the authorities and clinicians.

Im pretty sure i saw a certificate of authenticity, he raced it once at least i believe. There was another certified Brock car there as well, just beautiful.

Just his name brings a tear to my eye, He was a big part of me wanting to be a mechanic, I wanted to be Brockys Mechanic! I always loved car racing, at the time I had 2 trail bikes. I was 16. I was the first girl ever to qualify at GMH (there were 2 of us taken on, but the other girl quit, we are still friends to this day!) My boss was John Shepard, who used to own the HDT. When i was a third year apprentice, I got called into the office, And there was the great man himself! The boss went and made us a cup of coffee and i got to chat with Peter, He was just awesome! I was so star struck!! I cried buckets the day He died. And i need a tissue now!! His record at Mount Panorama will never be beaten.

And i know allll about the mistress and the crystals, so noone needs to try to break my faith!

There is an auction of his cars soon, I told hubby if one takes your fancy buy it, i dont care what it costs! Damn shame hes a ford man! I took some shots of Moffats car for him - I was in the pits one day at Sandown, and Moffat was ignoring kids wanting autographs, I had a pit crew pass so i jumped the rope, and pointed them out to him, he went over and signed for them! I was getting Dick Johnsons autograph the same day, and he jokinlgy asked for my number! Man he was a babe back then, and unfortunately, i was painfully shy!!

These were taken at a distance of about 500m so im wrapped at how clear they are:
