For a player of Rocca's ability serviceable is not enough. Andrew Dimma has being serviceable. Do you rate his year has being good? A player with as much ability as Rocca has servicable performances are not good enough!

Lets look at Roccas performance in the context of our team.

Admittedly Pebbles got off to a slow start to the year and was dropped.

But i dont think many players have enjoyed better seasons this year than Pebbles.

1. Tarrant has had a good year but has endured a slump of late.

2. Buckley has had some good games but has missed a few through injury and also has some quiet games.

3. O'Bree has enjoyed a great year

After that i think Pebbles would almost be next.

He was B.O.G. against Carlton the first time we played them

He was B.O.G. against the Bulldogs

He was B.O.G. against the Bombers

What other Collingwood players can boast a minimum of three B.O.G'S ??

Pebbles is our second highest goal kicker this year behind Chrissy T. When required he has stepped up and played in the ruck.

Who has taken more contested marks at the club than Pebbles ??

The most impressive thing about Rocca is his improved fitness. The last few weeks, he has been taking a large proportion of the centre bounces and then roamed about CHF, kicking goals along the way. On Saturday he was brilliant; not just for the goals, but for his presence in the midfield when needed.

....and if it wasn't for those brainless white maggots in the last quarter, his work might have been repaid with a win!!

I think Ant has really taken the next step this year, apart from an odd game here and there, he must be amongst our most consistent players, especially in the second half of the year. He also seems to be playing with more pride and passion, I am not sure that this has always been part of his game in the past. He looks like he means business this year.

The thing is Anthony should/could of have kicked 8 on Saturday, that was how good he was playing. Destroyed hackboy Dustin Fletcher, and should be congradulated...end of story.

JLC he was also BOG against Melbourne. Budgie, how can u even utter Dimma's name in the same sentence as Rocca's. Pebbles has been gr8 for us and he's done a hell of a lot more than u ever will.
