Just got home from a job as an extra. Stan Original miniseries called Bloom. Today was filmed at the Werribee Western Treatment plant, not far from the zoo. Fair fkn drive.
Got there at 3pm, left at 11pm. 3 hours of sitting around (including a nice feed) and 5 hours of standing out in the freezing fkn cold to get what would end up around 3 minutes of footage. 1 scene, filmed multiple times from different angles. I was supposed to be TV crew at the unveiling of a local memorial statue, it sort of morphed into minder for a very pretty young female journo.
Good experience even though I was (and everyone else) wishing they could just hurry up and finish as it got later.
Tomorrow morning I can go and check out the wiring job the sparkies did on my shed. I had to leave before they were finished. Got power and lights in there now. Then I'll go and pick up the ute I've bought and start swapping cars around.

Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.

Quick ride to Mordialloc and back (strong head wind) on my lonsesome although joined a small group for a short while.
Have to clean the house before Mrs WPT (and the youngest) get back from Bali (Ubud) when I pick them up tonight. Lots of vacuuming, mopping and bathrooms to be done. A bit before the game & most afer going to the G.
One more week (4 night shifts FFS) then 5 1/2 weeks leave
