Cheers pointy ears

Be interesting to see if Fas has done enough for a recall. Mind you, our forward line hasn't been our problem.

Great work as always MB I was having sneaky looks while at work - couldn't believe the scoreline.

Note to seniors - do this to Freo next weekend

Hilariously, we could have gone goalless and still won by more than 4 goals (0.37 to 1.4).

That result is an embarrassment for the VFL.

Club is reporting that McLarty was booked for a trip. Which is interesting, considering that in the same action, he also roundarmed (accidentally, because he was trying to tackle a guy who was side-stepping him) the player to the moosh.

I think Sam has a nervous 24 hours or so ahead of him...

Nope, we only rise to 5th. Williamstown had to lose to Port Melbourne for us to be 4th on percentage. The 'Gulls in the end were just too good for Port.

So, it's now down to the last round, where we not only have to beat Sandringham (our nemesis of the last 5 years), but also rely on a Melbourne Football Club affiliate to do us a last round solid by beating Williamstown. Oh, the ironies of life in football...

Problem with that sort of result is you can't gain too much of an idea of a players form for afl selection. It sounds like a training drill just occurred. It could be fools gold.

Of potential players up for selection, who could be be selected for next week?

We may travel with extra carry over players. Depending on result come Sunday we may rest anyone with a niggle or that has fatigue.
