I saw a lot of women there in the live feed supporting their sons, brothers, husbands and fathers who are being made to feel like second class citizens. Normal people love and support each other without drawing gender inspired battle lines and want society to drop the gender warfare and do the same. Those with the most to lose out of this are of course fighting tooth and nail for the status quo.

I'd be saddened if people think that there's no conceivable justification for a "men's issues" rally (other than as a conduit for alt-right mobilisation, as this one seems to have been), because that would mean that it's thought that there are no issues of male disadvantage worth addressing. And yet, many feminists (as well as members of the broader public) agree that there are serious issues affecting men at present, including family court discrimination, violence, high rates of imprisonment and lack of social support. Would it be possible to hold such a rally without Antifa forces descending upon it? It's an interesting thing to contemplate.
