At which location re the river?stui magpie wrote:I'm trying to follow that.
You started at Mossman and went on the gorge tour (utterly brilliant I agree, I've done it 4 or 5 times), then went north to the Daintree, then headed back south again? Did you cross the river and go through the forest or just got to the river and turned around?

Daintree ferry is the only place you can cross the river. Did you ride to the ferry crossing or to Daintree Village?watt price tully wrote:At which location re the river?stui magpie wrote:I'm trying to follow that.

Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.

While you're up there, get up to Kuranda for a day. Steam train from Cairns, chair lift from Smithfield (just north of Cairns) or drive.
Years ago I did the bus from Cairns to the chair lift, spent the day in Kuranda, nice lunch at the pub there, then the train back. The train goes past the barron falls which at this time of year won't be much but you'll get the idea

Kuranda is beautiful, was even better 30 years ago before it got popular, the station was covered in flower gardens.
You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either!
