Magpie Gal 19,

"Non Profit"!!! Geez, I don't know! What's wrong with abusing the shit out of a few people who aren't wearing black & white and making a few dollars at the same time?

Don't you understand? The more money we make, the more beer we buy, the more beer we buy, the more abusive we get. See? Easy stuff!!! It's a lovely vicious circle!

,,thanks for enlightening me, sounds as tho you cheersquaders are much more structured than I would ever have known. Sounds quite encouraging to me because it sure does make a difference having a strong cheer squad (or 2 or 3).

Btw Neil, who is Rana McGoldrick,, the name haunts me for some reason, did she used to be a Lorne regular and was she a dental nurse ?

Rana is an absolute diehard, who lives nearby in Collingwood, and has a black and white picket fence.

btw all: the official cheer squad got a lot of bad press in the 80s - Does anyone remember??? They used to get blamed for just about everything (ie. attacks on interstate supporters at games, etc) and mostly it wasn't even them. All in all, it reflected badly on the club, hence the stricter approach from then on.
