Does anyone else who's looked at Pay-TV find it annoying that you have to pay for all the crap channels before you can get anything good (like AFL next year)?

well i think with foxtel u have to get this general pack or something. i dunno, check on the internet

We've been paying for all the crap on Foxtel for years just so we can get their great coverage of the GP bikes and the superbikes - now they tell us we will have to pay probably $3.00 a week more for the AFL - so for us that sounds a pretty good deal!! If they do half as well with the footy as they do with the bikes the coverage should be sensational!!

Just typical... why can't they just make a subscription package with only the AFL channel? I don't think I'll be paying for the crap general stuff just so I can get to see the AFL channel!
