28 yrs old soon, 200 cms, 100 kgs
138 games
34 goals 42 behinds in career
3 tackles per game
4 marks
11 disposals - 5 contested 6 uncon
9 hitouts
5 1%ers
intriguing.
If he gets the same boost as Dunn and Howe that our jumper brings, could be anything. Forward he has a few tricks, back has the height. He's like a slower Darcy Moore. I'm happy with this pickup, unless it costs us something better.

"There was speculation on Friday afternoon Collingwood was poised to make a late play for Roughead, but no paperwork was lodged by Friday's 5pm deadline."
Now that the free agency period has closed, the remaining players can only join new clubs via trades unless they are delisted.
If they delist themselves they must nominate for the NAB AFL Draft or pre-season draft, but if they are delisted by their clubs they are eligible for delisted free agency.
Duryea (Sydney and Western Bulldogs) also attracted opposition interest but it's understood he still has the option of remaining with Hawthorn, as Roughead does with the Bulldogs.

If I was McLarty I'd be a little disappointed with the Roughead announcement.
I would have thought his development across his first two seasons in the VFL has been geared towards being that player who can potentially fill a role at full back, full forward or in the ruck.
I would have been happy to just see him given senior opportunity if it presented or his form couldn't be ignored.
Roughead improves our key position depth which was required but doesn't improve on our first choice options in the roles he plays so I hope we can now secure a player like a Beams who'll definitely improve the midfield mix to what we witnessed in 2018.
No need to respond to that last part P4S.
LOL.
