Trump might try to implement what happened to that Journo as official policy in dealing with all the jpurno's who criticise him. :P
I'm sure if he could do it he would. That is why he loves all the dictators.

Trump "seems totally reasonable there's no body" or "Saudis told me all their bodies just magically disappear. I believe them".

Honestly, this whole thing is just a sickening and depressing sideshow. Obviously the US are not going to jeopardise their mutually beneficial, corrupt-to-the-core relationship with Saudi Arabia over the (horrifically violent and unjust) death of one journalist; even if it was Obama in charge and they were making a big song and dance about sending a tough response, it would all be pantomime. Not a great deal of space for ethics and morality in the sphere of global politics.

Now we have a third story. Obviously Trump tells them he needs a better version to sell to the people.
