Intending to vote Liberal on Saturday, but not sure about the Legislative Council yet.
Box Hill, not such a safe Liberal seat now I gather? Must say I didn't see that coming! What do you think the Federal Libs need to do to change to stop this from happening in the Fed election? Or is it too late?
Cheers big ears
Move from the far right back towards the middle ground. Australia is not Georgia.KenH wrote:Jezza wrote:I'm located in the electorate of Box Hill. Been a safe Liberal seat since 1992.

This is like seeing Roger Federer losing 6-4, 6-4, 6-2 to your granny.
With 64% of votes counted the Libs are ahead.
LNP 47%
Labor 31%
Greens 13%
If the kid picks up all the greens preferences and most of the Animal Justice preferences, he has a punchers chance but it's a long shot.

He should promise to double his electoral spend next time. Will the extra $1,500 make the difference? What will happen when he reaches puberty?stui magpie wrote:Maybe not.David wrote:My seat. At the Moment the Legislative Council has 19 ALP, 9 Lib, 1 Green (Fkcn Great) and 10 others. The Green will have no choice but to side with the ALP so that's 20 Seats to the ALP. I would suggest the ALP have the Majority in both houses and could probably bribe a vote or two along the way if required as well.

The postal votes will go to the Libs but it would be grand to get an 18 year old in who can't drive and had to have his celebrations over in neighbouring Bentleigh as there wasn't anyone epseically him who thought he would be a chance of winningstui magpie wrote:Maybe not.David wrote:My seat.
