This whole women's footy comp is embarrassingly bad, patronising and disrespectful to genuine elite female athletes and sports people. It truly demeans women's sports.

Freo averaging almost 9 goals a game (best) compared to Collingwood 2 (worst). Each team with the exception of Collingwood have kicked at least 5 goals in a game.

Collingwood lost 3 players to North Melbourne, who are undefeated.
Another went to North Melbourne, Mo.

Chloe Molloy our best player is injured.

The expansion of the competition has been at the expense of Collingwood.

Actually 4 played poached by North - Jaz Garner, Mo Hope, Jess Duffin, Emma King.

Emma King was the Pies no. 1 ruckman last year, Jaz Garner 2nd best defender.

^ Although we did lose all of those players we were still off the pace with them in the side. We are yet to make finals or look like a quality side. Now that we are missing these players we look totally awful. North are playing now and Mo Hope is trimmed like a greyhound and looking pretty good. Physical strength seems to be a major problem for us, today we finished the game strongly by attacking and playing more free and open footy. Perhaps we have been too conservative, who knows! Hard to put a finger on the women's game as to why some teams are superior to others. I think physicality, aggressiveness and risk-taking are keys. Having a gorilla up forward would also help too

The expansion of the competition only dilutes the talent pool more.

I don't watch much AFLW, but it's clear that the AFL has rushed itself into expanding the competition.
