What is it with political positions? There is virtually no other walk of life in which any of us would seriously embrace the idea that someone over about 50 could hack the high-pressure demands of a senior management position, so why does the US only want to elect a President, of whatever persuasion, who is near death? Surely there is someone who could do the gig and doesn't depend upon a secure supply of pacemaker batteries?
