This is unbelievably funny.

The Coalition has been dysfunctional for the last three years, and Labor can barely make any gains.

Or unbelievably depressing, as the case may be. Shows that scare campaigns about refugees, dodgy economics and greed are incredibly difficult to beat in Australia, while basic appeals to equality and long-term climate policy are politically useless. I don't feel at all optimistic about the country's future.

Queensland just confirming it's the deep south of Australia.

Many Australians seemingly agreeing that a party full of racist, homophobic climate change denying religious nutters are the values they stand for.

Sad.

My read is that a lot of it is local issues, and The Greens appear to have scored an own goal by campaigning in Qld mining communities against mining.

Everyone was expecting a Labor wipeout, it hasn't happened and the refugees have barely been mentioned. Whoever wins, it's going to be interesting.

No, it show's that common sense prevails and that Shorten is a half brain moron.
I think it's fantastic for Australias future! Iron Ore is skyrocketing and we will have a government that wont blow it on a snake oil climate change furphy and mass immigration.

Not to mention the little flutter I had at 6's on a coalition victory. ;)
