Lynch sat out the last quarter. They claim it's just a corked calf. We'll see...

Meanwhile, afl.com.au reports
"The Tigers also expect captain Trent Cotchin to be back for the clash, having missed the past seven weeks with a hamstring injury".

They took Marlion Pickett in the mid season draft last night.

He's listed as 8-10 weeks with a hand/finger injury.

So much changes in 12 months doesn't it?
This time in last year, they all but had their name engraved into the 2018 cup, and very few clubs even pushing them by deep into the final term.

UPDATE: Tigers' injury-cursed year continues with star pair to miss

https://www.afl.com.au/news/2019-06-12/ ... miss-again

"... Trent Cotchin to another hamstring complaint and Shane Edwards to hamstring tendinitis..."

Update to update: Martin will captain.

Update 2 (or is that 3?): Soldo is out! ("Virus". Isn't that a bit wussy?) And no sign of Astbury on the team sheet.

If Nankervis plays this week, the only frontline player they'll have on the injury list is Rance. :(

Dreadful news about that young kid Higgins. Brain surgery next week after bleeding on the brain. He's gone for the year, but I wonder whether doctors might say the chances of another bleed might make playing footy too dangerous.

'I would never be able to forgive myself': Rance explains why comeback hopes have been shelved

https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/ear ... 52eww.html

"The club's view - based on medical advice, including from his orthopedic surgeon Julian Feller - is that there was too great a risk of the graft in the knee not holding up if a player returned after five months, which would be the case if Rance played in the first week of the finals."

"Richmond will sweat on the results of scans to determine the extent of the ankle injury key defender Dylan Grimes suffered in the third quarter...

Richmond expect their skipper Trent Cotchin to be back for the final round against the Brisbane Lions, having missed the past three games...

The availability of ruckman Toby Nankervis is less certain with scar tissue related to his groin injury still troubling him. He is likely to play finals ..."
