Had son, grandson and daughter over last night.
Sharknado is really doing well. His vocabulary and behaviour have come on in leaps and bounds. Still a cheeky little cnut but now he can verbalise it.
Daughter is single, broke up with her GF a while back, they're in the friend zone which won't last but she's comfortable with things which is the main thing.
Great to have them over, love that they still choose to come.

hah,
Yeah it's amazing how tech savy these munchkins are. I gave the son an old Android Tablet I stripped back and put some kids educational games on. He deliberately only part charges it as, when it's near bed time the rugrat goes to dads bed with the tablet and works youtube til it goes flat. When he comes out to say it's flat, it's bed time.
Little shit is 3 1/2 and can't read or write, but navigates his way through youtube like a boss and remembers the preview panes of what he likes

I'm nucking fackered. Had the little bloke for a few hours this morning.
Picked him up from his Dad's place, took him to Greensi plaza, cruised some toy shops and bought him a Brody Grundy action figure (Thor) then back to my place, played inside for a while, then in the park next door, then back inside, then out the front.
Took him to Hungry Jacks for lunch on the way home, got him the cheeseburger stunner meal with a cheeseburger, 3 nuggets, small chips, drink (apple juice) and a small cornetto. He inhaled the cheeseburger and nuggets, half the chips and saved the cornetto til after I got him back to his dad.
I think we both need a nap.
He didn't want me to leave, got the big hug and the Nooooooooo when I said I had to go.

One more shift then a bit over 3 weeks leave thanks be the lord. I feel like a marathon runner falling over the line as I haven't had any annual or LSL for 10-11 months. Work has been full on. In the last 10 years mental health presentations to the ED have increased by over 500%. This has not been met in any commensurate way by our resourcing. I'm tired, in fact I'm exhausted. One more shift....
