These comments are very funny!!!Pies4shaw wrote:What's wrong with the old fashioned bed of nails or hair shirt (or both)? It should be a thumbs-down gesture to signify his shame and 24/7 misery. Bet he doesn’t even chastise himself with a whip every night before bed!

We’ve tried the “ignore them” chin up tactics. People are assholes towards Collingwood supporters. And you know what? Every year one of our players gives these assholes more ammunition. My kid is hanging tough, but geez, he’s not enjoying footy because of the crap we always endure. At school. At work. On tv.
All kids get teased at one point.
I got bashed by a Yr 6 Carlton kid back in ‘79 because we nearly won the GF.
It was like that growing up in Footscray in the 70s & 80s.

ANNODAM, I look forward to exchanging a couple of colorful sms's with you tonight during the broadcast eh!

North were robbed last week by a disgusting umpiring mistake, because the AFL want a Qld side in the finals. So it’s not just us thankfully haha!
We need better education at the club. Collingwood is not like the other clubs, we have media circling like vultures for any scrap to turn into a scandal to sell papers. We have 17 other clubs supporters who hate us, the general public hates us and will dob us in if we’re seen not picking up dog poop when walking our dogs. We are under the microscope more than any other club and have to be more careful because of this. It’s not fair, our players should be allowed to live normal lives, but that’s the facts.
Club should have asked for Jaiden’s phone, set his social media privacy settings to family only and unable to be shared, then given his phone back and wished him a great holiday see you when you get back. Simple.

But that's why his torpedo goal that cost him a win was so important (they claim) in convincing the investigators that he was just an airhead who wasn't affected by his bets.35reasons wrote:...
... both Stephenson and the club were lucky he wasn’t suspended for life.
And has anyone considered the potential impact of his betting on our game. He bet on other team-mate’s disposals FFS! Do we really want a player who during a game might not chose the best option for a pass because it will affect his winnings? How are Stephenson’s actions in this regard anything other than complete selfishness and about as anti-team as you can get.
Jeremy Howe should be given a medal for raising this. Stephenson should be shown the door.
