Magnificent performance. Hard to even think of anything negative. Physically dominated, skills were elite, defensively sound, played out the game well. Just a sensational display. Let’s hope this is the norm the rest of the season, because if it is, that’s a legitimate flag contender right there. Go you mighty Pies.
I, for one, welcome our new black and white overlords

Our best performance for the year. Plenty to like about that one. Best of all by piling the goals on in the second half our percentage passed the Eagles'. That means whatever happens tomorrow (Tigers v. Eagles) we are back in the top 4. If we can beat the Bummers next week we can finish as high as second I believe. Amazing result. Players finding form at the right time.
Really believe that Bucks gave the order at three quarter time to not slacken off like last week and pile on the percentage.
Who will miss out for De Goey and Stevo?

Might be the last we see of Don Pyke as well. If he's not sacked on Monday he'll be sacked at the end of their season. That pre-season camp on the Gold Coast after they lost the 2017 GF worked out well didn't it Don.piedys wrote:Wow, is that right?! Wow! What a win!!!Magpietothemax wrote:Fantastic effort, and without Darcy Moore, JDG, Stepho, Aish, ....
I am ecstatic.
Our team defence was superb tonight. Absolutely suffocated the Crows. Their capitulation in the last quarter was due to their demoralisation. Our defensive structures and elite pressure ground them down to a quivering pulp.
Jamie Elliott, welcome back. And just at the right time.
Trav Varcoe... I sense something special from this man. It's his last stanza. I think he is planning to make it one of a historic nature.
JT, welcome back. Knew you had it in you, mate.
Collingwood midfield...with two inside mids, the boosters have kicked in.
Loved this game tonight.
Rapt with the Pies.
You highlight several major points MTTM:
* The defence were superb. Howie - fantastic mark amongst many. My boy back to his spoiling best. Crisp and Maynard -what attacking back men they are, loved that Brayden managed a brilliant goal. Magden well done - very dependable.
* Billy -how wonderful it is to see him back to his best. He has been through so much with his injuries and has never, ever given up.
* Trav - it was his ferocious tackling and goal smarts that got us going. So happy for him after the sadness he has had to cope with.
* JT - has had his trials just like Varcs, but so happy to see him back in some form
* Rupert Wills - has made a huge difference with the way he lays his body on the line.
* Tay - who says you can't kick a football?
Plus, very meritorious efforts from the remainder of the team!!!!!!!!! Woo hooo!!!!!!!!

Good problem to have isn't it? Could be some very unlucky players uninjured sitting in the stands in three weeks time...shawthing wrote:Our best performance for the year. Perhaps, but surely he can't take the fall for the numpty camp alone?shawthing wrote:Might be the last we see of Don Pyke as well.
