Honestly the AFL is so transparent in their efforts to boost some players and clubs.

Intentional.....low impact.....contact to the body = a fine

It's there in writing in the AFL tribunal guidelines for 2019.

Threw him into the fence though. AFL said at the start of the year they would crack down on that. They haven't.

Should have been suspended, because Merrett's head impacted the fence, and was very dangerous.
1 week to both would have been fair.
But I am glad it didnt eventuate, because WC now play Bitchmond, and I actually would prefer WC to win. I think we would like our chance for vengeance against them in another GF.
