I think that Jericho article is really good. The Libs have pulled such a scam for the last couple of decades telling the Australian public that they’re great economic managers.

Apart from the economy the secrecy is quite scary including the treatment of whistlelblowers.

It's not the Libs scamming.

Think federally, we've had 3 Labor goverments since WWII.

Whitlam - progressive but financial disaster

Hawke-Keating - Very good but still managed to drive interest rates up to sky high

Rudd-Gillard-Krudd - spent the savings to stave off the GFC, then spent some more.

It's not Lib propaganda, it is what it is.

With all due respect, it is obvusly far too thin and simplistic Terry McCrann. However what it is, is scamming

However the bigger issue for me is the "secrecy" of this goverment and the adman if not conman, the Pentacostalist (the exemplar of PR in religious terms) Morrison.

The secrecy around Manus and now Christmas Island: our Goverment is spending gazillions but is avoiding accountability of how this money is being used.

One area of expenditure that has come to light is the massive amounts to guard thousands, sorry hundred, sorry tens of, no wait for it ...... a whole 4 people in Christmans island:

https://www.theguardian.com/australia-n ... ople-in-it

The privelged Angus Taylor just can't seem to use power & influce to make this go away. He's shown poor judgment over a few cases in a row

Caught lying about Clover Moore when he leaked to the Daily Telegraph then after parlianent closes slides in an apology of the most miserly sort.

Many issues to answer

https://twitter.com/insidersabc?lang=en

His own & family's conflict of interests and the making of money through government funding: reprehensible

Reminds of the corrupt Joh Bjelke Peterson Government of Queensland when RUs HInze was minister for racing and owned race horses:

"Journalist": Minister Hinze, do you see this a conflict of intererests?
"Hinze": No not a conflict, I see it as a convergence of interests

At least Hinze was open about his improper conflict of interests. This Goverment hides behind PR speak, secrecy laws and a lack of accountability.

Morrisons relationship with Hillsong shows how impaired his judgment is when he tried to invite the son of a Paedophile to the White House (The current head of Hillsong the son and Morrisons Mentor / Pastor failed to report sexual abuse committed by his father of others when he clearly knew). Hillsong is well known for its capacity to communicate (They are basically a religious PR company) but failed to simply communicate paedophillia at the highest level.

"Sexual abuse victim of Hillsong founder’s father blasts PM for supporting Brian Houston"

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2019/ ... an-houston

So much secrecy with this advertising man the PM Scomo / Coalmo

Morrison's lack of accountability is mirrored if not shaped by his religious mentor, the head of the PR religious firm Hillsong

"...Brian Houston, the founder of Hillsong church, refused to be interviewed by New South Wales police about his father’s child abuse confessions, shortly after which an investigation was nearly abandoned due to a lack of sufficient evidence, parliamentary documents reveal.

NSW police confirmed last month the investigation was still open

Angus Taylor Cabinet member of Morrisons Muppets: what a f*ck up!

1. Conflict of interests re property / family and goverment decsion making

https://www.thebigsmoke.com.au/2019/07/ ... explained/

2. Big notes himself saying when he was at Oxford in 1991 he and others made sure people including Dr Naomi Wolf were prevented from banning Christmas

However Dr Naomi Wolf was not at Oxford in 1991 but was a Rhodes scholar there in the late 1980's and she loves Christmas and othet holidays

https://www.theguardian.com/australia-n ... s-tree-row

3. Accuses Sydney's Lord Mayor of millions of dollars of air travel trying to blame for greenhouse emissions which never occurred, instead his office doctors the documents.

https://www.smh.com.au/politics/federal ... 53gy1.html

Meanwhile head Muppet Morrison thinks its a good idea to call the Police during a criminal inevstigation in front of the Attorney General (both stuffed up big-time here) The perception of PM Sco-Mo calling the police mid way througha criminal investgiation into one of his ministers compromises the Police.

Angus Taylor needs to resign and Sco Mo needs to apologise and say he got it wrong (again)
