I could have been expressing the same thoughts as Derek Hine on draft night. There could have been another Dane Swan lurking in the mid fifties that we missed out because of Port Adelaide making its bid. You don't know that. I don't know that. How does expressing that opinion demeans Tyler Brown in any way in this welcoming thread? I'm just as happy to have him at pick 65 as pick 50. You miss the point.ronrat wrote:Some people on this site are never satisfied. If we had the 3 first picks and got the next Leigh Matthews, Wayne Carey and Darren Millane they would be whinging we missed out on Patrick Cripps. Give it a friggin rest. It is what is is and give the boys some support FFSE wrote:why? we didnt take anyone else? are you suggesting there was a guy collingwood would have taken with this pick if they had the chance?BucksIsFutureCoach wrote:Would have preferred him at pick 65 than pick 51 but that's life I guess.
It is a welcome thread. If you have some concerns take it somewhere else. Up a dark wet spot would be my suggestion.
I for one welcome my Gavin Brown and daicos sons overlords.

With a solid and uniterupted pre-season, from our U21 list behind Stephenson, he's the player I'm most looking forward to seeing develop over 2020.
What number will be on his back in 2020? 3, 6, 9, 14 or stick with the 34?
While there's few spots where he might naturally break into senior selection, I can see him challenging Thomas for a half-forward position.
Size wise, another 6 months hitting the tin before the season proper might have him listed closer to 85kg. He was drafted at 187cm and 71kg. He has since grown to 190cms and 81kgs.
(Pendles was 188cm & 82kg when he was drafted in 2005)
