AFL Travel

Post by Presti35 »

Has anyone used them before? Everything seems alright, but there's no info on the ticket. Where you'll be sitting, etc.

Does it let you select a seat/area once you've entered your flight details? Or are you just given whatever?

No choices sorry, everything gets booked and you get your seating at a later date.

I've used Precinct Travel through the club quite a few times. Always been excellent service, seats, flights and accommodation.

Even with them you don't get seat choices though, it seems to be up to the venue or ticket company? I have done both the Magpies and AFL travel and seating has been good at both. Seems AFL travel have more options on the accommodation places I found.
My wife and I are going to the Brisbane game at Easter staying 4 nights in a one bedroom apartment overlooking the river with balcony walking distance to the Gabba. Flights, tickets and accommodation all up for both of us $1550.
Pretty happy with that!

Nothing wrong with that deal Ken!

I'm sure your game tickets will be good also. I guess they just buy a 'block' of seats for each game?

Thanks guys.

We're going to Brisbane in a group of three. I just like to pick the area I'm sitting in. I'm sure they'd put all the travelling Pies supporters together.

Hmmm, I wonder if I'll still be going?

All booked through AFL Travel.

I guess there's bigger problems out there though. We'll see what happens.

Quite possible that there could be interstate travel bans introduced over the next few months - could become a reality. Just a heads-up.

Got the phone call today from AFL Travel.

Everything to be refunded apart from the transaction fee ($17.95).

But was then told that each hotel is different and may not refund the full amount.
