Anyone here with me at the Palais for Opeth? Very, very excited. How much Swedish Death Metal do you get to hear in an average week?

By the way, in what universe is it sensible for predictive text to replace “Palais” with “Palau’s”? I mean, has anyone ever typed a sentence on the internet about Palau - away from Palau, that is?

My newly-received triple CD set of Jorge Bolet: volume 3 of his recordings in (west) Berlin in the 60s and 70s. Specifically, a brilliant performance of Chopin’s Polonaise Grand in E-flat, op 22.

what can I say? This is the Joe Montana of the piano.

Bill Callahan's latest album, Shepard in a Sheepskin Vest.

He's in town, again, and if you like his stuff I can definitely recommend going.
