Hahahaha WTF

I've listened to comic impersonations of Biden and, I swear, the real thing is another step beyond. Also, I love that he can't seem to go a single week without attacking ordinary Democrat voters at his public events, just for asking polite and entirely reasonable questions. How could anyone have ever thought this guy could win a national election?

I was happy to see Bernie address irritation (including my own) at his use of the term 'democratic socialism', which I find unnecessary. He's on the ball, that's for sure.

Nice meme, but surely even you don't believe that for a second.

I think if the "Democratic Socialists" got everything they wanted then yeah that's exactly what would happen, same as it always does. But no, in the USA the President doesn't have the power to institute the policies that Bernie says he'll bring in and the Senate and Supreme Court also stand in the way of a Socialist take over. A bit like a school captain saying they'll end homework, it's a nice lie to tell an ignorant electorate.

As to why that always happens, the Government's only authority is firstly the consent of the governed and after that, force. When socialism starts to meet resistance (as it always does) the State turns violent and starts killing or arresting people.

Sanders has always been a pacifist and reformist, and I see nothing in his personal or political record that would remotely suggest gulags or firing squads. But regardless, as you say, there's zero chance that anything like that would happen anyway with him in charge even if he were so inclined. He'll have an uphill battle just trying to bring America's healthcare system into the twenty-first century, increase taxes on the rich and raise the minimum wage; somehow I suspect executing enemies of the revolution might be a long way down the priority list.

Also, I edited this for accuracy:

When it comes to that dynamic, liberal-capitalist democracy well and truly has its own body count.

I'd pay that, like try not paying taxes in liberal, open and free Australia or the USA and see what happens.

Voluntaryism and minimal Government would always be my first choice.

More teen peer group memes copied and pasted by adults.

I see Bone Spurs has started getting his fan club ready for social services cuts. As night follows day.
