Bloomberg is a Republican and shouldn't even be in consideration by the Democrats.

It's embarrassing that once again money can buy you a shot at becoming the President.

Sad that not much seemingly separates moderate Democrats and Republicans with both sides more interested in retaining the status quo of corporate America and the powerful interest groups behind it.

He's getting trounced tonight, in any case. About the only thing he's achieving is keeping Sanders in the race by stealing votes off Biden, which is fine with me.

My understanding is Bloomberg was a long time Democrat who joined the republicans to win the vote for Mayor of New York, switched back to an independent part way through his reign and reverted to Democrat once out of office where he's spent millions getting Democrats elected and given over $8 Billion away since signing the Giving Pledge

He has as much right to run as Sanders who is an independent senator, not a Democrat.

Biden is giving Bernie a rogering over all, probably because he thinks he's his wife. The fight will be on to be Biden's VP because if he does beat Trump, the VP is odds on to become POTUS well inside the 4 year term

You can pretty much pencil in Biden. I was wrong, him being totally mentally incompetent doesn't seem to dissuade Democrat voters at all.

Wrong. Being wealthy does not automatically make someone a Republican.

Bloomberg was a registered Republican for only six years of his life (2001-2007). In all other years, he's either been an independent (2007-2018) or a Democrat (before 2001; 2018-present).

If anything, Sanders doesn't belong in the Democratic party and deep down he knows this as well, but understands he won't make any progress unless he runs on a party ticket.
