ANYONE FOR HORSE RACING ??
Just wanted to know if anyone follows the horses. Personally i try and have a look and pop down to TAB most weekends during the Spring Carnival and have a bet then watch the races at home. It would be good to be able to discuss horseracing with other punters ??

As my grandfather used to tell me, the only way to make a quid following the horses is with a shovel and a bag.
And as the writer, Frank Hardy, used to say "Horses don't bet on people ... that's why they never go broke."
Having said that, I'll probably keep an eye on the feature races.

Love the racing. I signed up to be a part of Magpie racing and I love the spring racing carnival. Ive done alright the past few carnivals, probably coz I start following the form closer from September, I'd rather have the pies distract me by winning a flag and start the first week in October but not to be. There has already been much debate on this board as to whether or not Sunline can win a 3rd straight cox plate. I think she can and will and since she's won money for me in the past I'm sticking with her. Go you good thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

last year I went to derby day, sat in the public lawn area, got lost about six times when going to, and coming back, from the toilets, got massively schlargered on inflated beer and nasty plonk, and lost about $200. so I need some good tips and to watch the races in safe confines!! lol I might be interested in the magpie marquee at the cox plate. we can reprise our efforts at insomnia..haha
