Not that it'll matter to the Orange Man Bad crowd, but you're all being played for fools.

https://www.dailywire.com/news/fact-che ... ink-bleach

The same people who are crowing at this fake news would vote for a senile old lecher with a far more credible than Kavanaugh sexual assault allegation hanging over him, who can't string a sentence together, who has been withdrawn to a basement to release short video clips and do as little public interaction as possible because he's "Not Trump".

If I was a democrat or left wing voter in the USA I'd be appalled and for sure sitting this one out. They had one good candidate that they railroaded and non-personed (Tulsi Gabbard) and two bad but somewhat credible candidates in Warren and Sanders. I'd keep an eye on the VP pick, because that's who's really up for the Presidency here, Biden will be declared incompetent within 6 months.

Look, Trump did not recommend or suggest anyone should drink or inject disinfectant, anyone who believes he did either has clear comprehension issues or is being deliberately midleading.

Here's a news report that includes the actual comments.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K63t4fMTH6c

He mused about whether disinfectant could be used, by way of injection or other, and that maybe medical people should look into it.

Not the brightest thing to say in that situation, and I don't buy that he was being sarcastic, but let's not add mayo to make blatantly false claims.

Seriously, how simple does one have to be to contemplate even the merest hint of a possibility of injecting disinfectant into people for any other reason than that you have had enough of them? Does he have an IQ of 60 or is he losing the plot? For a guy touted by some as "intelligent" it's surprising how many things he says are so laughably stupid (or would be laughable, if they weren't so dangerous). Dettol had to issue a press release stating, in substance, "Please, please, don't - you'll die": https://www.independent.co.uk/news/worl ... 81786.html

Where did this straw man come from that everyone’s saying he was telling people to inject themselves with disinfectant? It’s nothing more than a desperate attempt at distraction. We all saw the clip, and your description of it is accurate in all its hilarity. The guy is a few sandwiches short of a picnic for sure.

'Journalists' and left wing idealogues who a pushing this within an inch of its life on social media as another 'gotcha' moment so they can say Trump is finished this time (again) and feel a little stir in their nether regions.

He asked a stupid question, it was funny in its own right but now it's just back to liberal clown world.

In the wake of this act of stupidity, Trump read a brief, prepared statement and took no questions at the next daily Coronavirus press briefing, before passing the briefing over to the people who can read and write. It now appears that there will be no press conference today. His advisers have told him to reduce his appearances at the briefings because he is shooting himself in the foot.

So, no, there is no problem with anything he says or does, specifically - his advisers have worked out that it is everything he says, generally.

Confirmed - another about face: https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/sta ... 0898173953
What is the purpose of having White House News Conferences when the Lamestream Media asks nothing but hostile questions, & then refuses to report the truth or facts accurately. They get record ratings, & the American people get nothing but Fake News. Not worth the time & effort!

Just a few days ago, he was boasting vacuously about his ratings for these briefings.

The Daily Wire piece above used a post from some guy on Twitter as evidence for this. The mainstream articles on this that I’ve read (The New York Times and The Guardian) reported his words accurately.

He's the President of the United States.

That once stood for something.

I'm no Morrison fan but close your eyes for a second and imagine those words coming out of his mouth or any other Australian PM of the past.

You can't can you?

Honestly his country is in crisis, he needs to remain on point in his press conferences, he needs to provide consistent messaging and be accurate when presenting the medical advice he's been provided with. He then needs to do that day after day week after week.

The reality is though he is completely incapable of doing that and with his persistent undermining via media platforms of the expert medical opinion or the social distancing measures implemented by state governors it is not only sewing further division within their populous it's leaving many people confused as to what they should or shouldn't be doing or are and aren't allowed to do in order to slow the spread of the virus.

That right there is one of the reasons America finds itself in it's present position and what many people will hold Trump personally accountable for.

Americans deserve a leader.

What they've got is seemingly a clown if he's making jokes about disinfectant.
He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD!

He’s certainly a culture shock after Obama!

When you look at the Kennedys and Clinton’s though, he’s just a more honest scumbag!

I really think Americans were sick and tired of the establishment, not sure they got what they expected, but I get why they did it
You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either!
