What's next for 2020?
So we started 2020 with bushfires and online fights about climate change
Then we moved into a pandemic with panic buying, lockdowns across the world, people discovering working from home as an alternative to commuting and online fights about China and different politicians.
Then an African American named George was killed by a white cop on video for all to see and a whole lot of pent up energy and frustration gets released in world wide anti racism demonstrations, protests, vandalism and violence.
We're almost half way through 2020, WTF else can 2020 throw at us?
Floods? We're hitting new records on rainfall and cold weather
Pestilence? I dunno, pick one. Mice, rats, locusts, vegans, cane toads, moths, mosquito's?
Full on economic depression, stock market crash, Taco Bell wins the franchise wars so all restaurants become Taco Bell?
Carlton wins the premiership? (Ok, that's a stretch)
Put your Nostradamus or tinfoil hat on, what ever is close at hand, what's next?

Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.

Agree an assassination on trump is brewing also the queen suffers a life threatening illness too. I’m also predicting a second wave of COVID but I hope I’m wrong. And a terror attack to round out the year in a level of September 11 scale this would round out a very eventful year also a start of a Cold War between China North Korea verses USA Australia too

The USA, of course. Starting a war is Trump's last best chance to stay in power.stui magpie wrote:Any tip on the 2 main protagonist's?Tannin wrote:War.
The other one is harder to guess.
Not Russia (because Trump would never do anything against the interests of his paymaster Putin.
Not China (because China is strong enough to be scary).
Not the UK (because Boris is just about Trump's last admirer).
Not France or North Korea or India or Israel or Pakistan (because they have nukes).
Not anywhere else that has a Trump Hotel.
Iran is a fair chance.
