Perhaps bear in mind that I have been watching the Pies for longer than most of you have been born, so I think I have learned a thing or two about our game. Our first quarter was outstanding but I really don't know how we can dismiss only 1 miserable goal thereafter. I HATE no goal quarters, and last night we had two of them. Our forward line totally sucked. Where were all our usual goal kickers? No goals from DeGoey, Hoskin-Elliott and others. Don't know the inside story as regards Stephenson, but we need him back. Punish him in some other way if needed, but don't leave him out of the side. We supporters are all entitled to know what is going on there.
Sorry, didn’t realise we had to respond to every post?? The fact that you mention you’re a female is odd? How would we know and why should that matter??

I’ve been a Pies supporter for probably as long as you and if these young posters don’t wish to respond to your posts then so be it.

As long as you're still younger than the coaches in the AFL, you're still young.

So, who's the youngest coach?

R. Shaw? Err... Rutten is a bit younger, but whether he's officially coach is debatable. Longmuir's the same age as Shaw. Nicks is a fair bit older than them.

^ Rhyce Shaw (born on October 16 1981 - age 38].

Rutten will be the youngest from next year. He's born on May 28 1983.

Rutten is already calling all the shots on game day. At training it's not so clear.

I don't know who the oldest coach is, but poor old Ken H looks like he's 100. He looks nothing like he did in his playing days.

What's up with Stevo?

Post by RudeBoy »

So what's up with Stephenson? He was heading for all Australian after his first season, but now can't even squeeze in as an emergency. I suspect there's some off-field issues going on, but I haven't heard anything.

The kid oozes talent and, like JDG, is capable of turning and winning games for us off his own boot. That's a rare commodity which we desperately need. So what have people heard?
