Essendon and Carlton 38 apiece at the end of three pointless quarters.

Gold Coast and Freo are 50 apiece after three quarters.

Gold Coast beat Freo, 10.4 to 8.3.

Carlton also "won". By a point. Each team tried to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, right at the end. When it mattered, Carlton were just one point less useless than Essendon.

At halftime, the Lions lead the Crows 7.10.52 to 2.0.12.

It is fair to say that the Crows' 2 scoring shots flatter them.

They are lucky they don't have the Pies taking shots for them, or it would be 2 points.

Wow. Not yet an upset brewing, but the Crows have made the score respectable.

Early in Q4, Lions 63-39 Crows...

but the Lions have just kicked another to stretch it back to 30 points.
