I have just spoken with emma and we have decided the only way to ignore all this crap is not to be exposed to it so in doing so we will be having a bit of a break from nicks bulletin board.

If we cant read it it cant upset us,its hard to try and ignore all this stuff i have tried and to be honest i dont see why we should be exposed to such crap.

I have a feeling it wont let up it will progressively get worse if thats possible.

I dont see why i have to defend my character at the whim of ratbags whose ambition is to destroy peoples credibility.

To put it simply myself and emma have had enough i have a job as a parent to stop exposing emma to this kind of filth and i have not been to good at it of late.

Joffa, you're previous posts on this board were inspirational, full of magpie spirit and a delight to read. I hope this self- banishment from Nicks is only temporary. Having said that, nothing else in the world is more important than the safety of both yourself and your precious daughter, Emma. Take as long as you like to recover from the trauma of late. There seems to be some pretty ugly stuff going down at the moment and hopefully it will all blow over in the near future.

I've got complete faith in you, Joffa. You are a much better person that the scumbags who are trying to bring you down.

I can't understand their motives, unless it's jealousy. You've gradually become a pretty famous person since that day the Herald Sun splashed your slightly pixilated picture across the back-page and started writing stories about you ... "Boot the Boofhead" ... LOL.

The reason you've become famous is because you are larger than life. Most Collingwood supporters I know admire you for being the person you are. We all stand taller when you're around.

There are, however, a few who resent you ... and I can only come to the conclusion that it's because you make them feel inferior ... not because of anything you do or say ... but because of their own pathetic insecurities.

Some people are so insecure that they need to attack anyone who threatens to steal the limelight from them. They can't bear to think that someone else is attracting more attention.

It's incredible the lengths they'll go to ... like getting their picture taken with a bloody Essendon player and posting it all over the internet. Just so they can have every drop-kick in Australia drool over them. AND DIDN'T THEY DROOL. It's very true what they say about men's IQ's at any given moment being inversely proportional to the size of their erection.

Ah well, Joffa.

You may not be as good looking as the person trying to destroy you.
But you've got a lot more integrity.
And a lot more friends.
