I didn't leave any comments on the Youtube page, but I liked the stuff, particularly the House of the Rising Sun cover. Imaginative interpretation.

Thanks for the interest - his studies have stalled for the moment due to the virus and he's gone back to his music to keep himself sane.

Nick left the site after a few years. We both got to the stage of burnout and decided to shut the site down. Luckily the community rose up and took over the day to day running and kept the forum going. Nick's passion for the Pies is unabated, but he's never regained his energy for the site. My only input these days is hosting, technical support and a bit of administration. You have the moderation team to thank for the continuing existence of Nick's. They give their time selflessly and consistently, without reward, often copping criticism, even abuse, for their troubles... they obviously have thicker skin than Nick did. He was 11 when it started, he'll be 36 this year.

It's incredible how long the site has lasted, Mike! Do you know what date the 25th anniversary is?

Not completely sure David - the first page was created some time in mid 1995, but it was initially just a list of footy links on a web page that Nick made and held locally to use as bookmarks to other footy sites. It was probably late 95 that it was developed into a site available on the web.
