It showed she was a phoney, sure, but all the stuff about "Harris being mean to Biden" or this being some barrier to her vice-presidential nomination is pretty cringeworthy. It was a primary contest, and he deserved to have his record criticised. I only wish Sanders had had the fortitude to go this hard against him in the later debates. Politics isn’t about making friends.

^ Actually, any leftist with a brain cell is fully in support of Harris and Biden at this time. Having three or possibly even more than three functioning brain cells, said Leftist knows that the important, indeed the only, priority right now is to stop the wholesale destruction of almost everything good about America known as "Trump".
Oh no. I don't have a braincell because I won't pick one group of war mongering corporate shills over the other. The fire was raging before Trump got there. He's the symptom not the problem. Both parties are unacceptable choices served up by a broken system and I reject the proposition of supporting one over the other. It's the not the fault of progressives that the majority of people take their cues on who to vote for by the corporate media.
Btw: It's not a good idea to direct a comment at someone that begins with 'any leftist with a braincell'. It makes you sound like a condescending turd.

In a seven alarm fire, nothing else matters.
First, you put the fire out.
You can argue later. First, put the fire out.
Correct on all counts.

Great post, David. If only the press would spend more time looking at the similarities of the two parties and candidates, rather than exaggerating about their differences.
There are many leftists who are quite disappointed with where a lot of the movement has headed, and it's that "you're stupid if you don't agree with me" attitude of the current followers that will keep the conservatives in power for a long time.
I'd be very surprised to find that any of you were further to the left than I am. Yes, you would have to be an idiot not to see that a Biden-Harris administration will be a right-wing and conservative one, somewhere around about where the moderate wing (such as it as remains) of the Liberal Party sits, of the right wing of the Labor Party. Not what any of us would call a wonderful administration.
But that is not the point. You would have to be downright brain dead not to appreciate the hard, cold fact that the choice here - the ONLY choice - is between the not-so-goodness of Biden-Harris and the insanity, gross corruption, and mindless destruction which is Trump.
You are faced with a choice between catching a common cold and being infected with Ebola, and you are hyperventilating about the evils of the common cold?
Good grief.
For the first time in my life - and I really mean that - I'm starting to appreciate what hard-right people mean when they say that "the left is really stupid". Anyone too stupid to recognise the overwhelming disaster that is the Trump administration is no smarter than a Trump voter.
