REALISTIC TRADE PEOPLE!

Everitt - don't have the players to trade for him and is not worth it anyway.

Beau McDoanld - Collingwood should go for him, he is well in our reach and is not a dickhead like Peter Eeveritt (We could give Tuckey to Brisbane for McDonald)

Jade Rawlings - This is the player we have to do everything in our powers to get EXAMPLE - SCOTT BURNS & ?

Heath Black - Collingwood don't need him.

Solomon - don't need (NOT A KEY POSITION BACK MAN)

Picking up McDoanld and Rawlings equals 2002 finals for collingwood.

Didnt you watch Friday nights game ?? Solomon took on Richmonds key forwards and played a great game.

Jade Rawlings isnt worth giving up SSB for.

Beau McDonald looks good as Brisbane have Voss Black Lappin Scott Power etc underneath him.

Solomon is a very good tough player and capable of playing in the midfield. He can play tall or small and would be a very good pick up to our team.

Why go for a player like solomon when clement is the same type of player?

We need a tall centre half back (Jade Rawlings fits the bill)

PS Beau McDonald is a good ruckmen his proved it against collingwood a number of times.

Everyone looks like a good ruckman against Collingwood ........look at Eastaugh when we played Fremantle. We made Eastaugh look like a gun......lol lol

Personally i would play Molloy at Centre Half Back and leave Presti at Full back. Clement can turn into a very effective tagger and linkman.

Didn't I hear on the TV that Solomon has commited himself to Essendon next year and said he would rather stay and take a pay cut than leave the club?

I don't think he is the answer anyway. I agree with the type of players we need. Ruckman & Centre half back.

How about Biglands from Adelaide or Barnaby French from Port for the ruck?

Do you think that Scott Lucas could play centre half back? He is tall and quick for his size and has safe hands.

For the trade the other clubs can have a choice of Dimma, Lane, Licuria (flame proof vest now on), Steinfort, Ukovic or Freeborn.

I think we have enough midfielders that can help out Bucks and Obie eg. SCOTLAND

Solomon is good and I would love to add him to the list. He will not solve any tall defener problems because he isn't tall. Sounds simple doesn't it!
He playes a little taller than most his height but you are always only pinch hitting with these types. I wouldn't knock him back but take him for what he is not what we want him to be.

McDonnald could be the answer if we can't Everitt. He looks a likely type. I saw his effort when Bris. beat Essendon and he was dominant for a while with huge knocks from the ruck.

Didn't Beau McDonald just sign a new contract with Brisbane?

Beau has signed.

i disagree with everything in your first post bucks.

i would take everitt. he is not a dickhead, he is the best tap ruckman in the comp, and can get a few goals too when given the chance up forward.

trading burns for rawlings would be ridiculous. Burns is our VC captain, a champion... who is rawlings?? get serious!

we do need a heath black. just to cap off our centrle line. bucks, obie and black. looks beautiful. with adkins, rintoul etc. swapping in and out.

solomon would be a good trade. he is versatile like clement. you cant get enough of these players... saying that "we already have clement" is crazy...if we could have 2 or 3 of these players to chose from on an oppositions forward line, we'd be laughing!

mcdonald and rawlings arent our solutions... everitt and black would be.

I am open minded on Rawlings.

If McDonnald is tied up I would target Everitt big time. Stafford is ok but that's about it. He seems to play well at times but never seems to sustain it. For me, the real issue is that he has been overtaken by Ball as Sydneys first ruck option and I wouldn't draft Ball as a freebie in the preseason draft.

Solomon is good but doesn't solve the tall defender problem as I have said earlier. I am not convinced there is a tall defende problem anyway so I'd definately go for him.]

Why is everyone so convinced we need a midfielder. I think we have a good combination in the midfield/running department. Especially with Didak and hopefully Reece Shaw to come on with body development and more game time. Add an injury free year for Scott Burns who is one of the best midfielders in the comp when fit and given game time away from defensive duties and we have one of the better midfields in the comp. Lean Davis could be an explosive midfielder if he can get out of the pocket. I think the biggest problem with the midfield is the thrashing we have been getting in the ruck. A winning rick would make an enormous difference in the centre clearances.

*cough cough splutter* excuse me, I almost choked! Scott Lucas?? HE IS THE BIGGEST DUD I HAVE EVER SEEN - He plays in a gun side and is still shit! I would hang my head in shame if he were to don the black & white stripes. HE'S NOT WORTHY!!!!

I want Nick Stevens! But I know port won't take McKee, Lane and Tuckey for him. SOB SOB! :-(

Sorry Magpira no chance of us getting Nick - very settled and happy in SA especially now his brother Danny is over there playing SANFL.Damn shame but - the boy was a fanatical pie supporter and was devasted we took Tarrant and not him in the draft. His old man played for the Pies but not enough games - DAMN IT!!
